A Little Bit About Me
I grew up on Long Island about 20 miles from NYC. When I was in 4th grade I read Sasha, My Friend by Barbara Corcoran which is a story about a little girl who moves to her dad’s Christmas tree farm in northwest Montana. From that day on I was determined to move there and when I turned 21 I entered the University of Montana in Missoula. During my junior year I met my husband on a mountainside here in the Kootenai National Forest and we have been happily married for over 26 years now!
I also love technology, playing the guitar, painting, walking in the woods with my dogs and driving along Montana’s beautiful roads.
I’ve taught over 700 students in 15 schools across 5 districts and always feel like I am put in just the right classroom for just the right students at just the right time.
I love to learn! And I love books! So I love to share that passion with my students. I also play over 300 songs on the guitar, am an artist, and most of all love living in Montana with my wonderful husband and all of our pets!
My Home Life
When I was a little girl I always dreamed of living like the Ingalls from Little House on the Prairie but in the mountains. Mr. Beyer and I live in in a sweet little cabin nestled in the woods. We currently have 2 dogs, 3 cats + plus one kitten, a rooster and 4 hens plus 4 baby chicks!
